About Kate Tanner
Hi, my name is Kate Tanner. Before starting this firm, I served as a Navy Judge Advocate for over ten years where I helped military leaders navigate legal fall out of service members' worst days through processes like courts-martials and administrative separation. While the Navy honed my dedication, attention to detail, and problem solving, I left passionate about helping families, especially queer families, make critical legal and financial decisions that prioritize protection and peace of mind.
With me, you have a trusted counselor for a lifetime of protection, guidance, and support. No matter where you are or where you are coming from, I want to help you make informed decisions from a place of confidence and strength.
When not with clients, you will find me digging and planting with the Master Gardeners in Kitsap County, skating with my teammates at Rat City Roller Derby, and knitting buried under blankets on my couch. I live in Poulsbo, Washington, with my husband, Patrick, and our three rescue cats, Willow, Ruth Bader Ginspurr, and Nannerpuss. I look forward to meeting you and helping you protect what matters most.
